Program Description

If your pharmacy is struggling to reach underserved or remote patients, consider implementing a telepharmacy practice model. This webinar will review what the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center learned by benchmarking with the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven, and how a telepharmacy workflow can advance the practice of pharmacy.

Brian J. Sesack, RPh, MBA, Pharmacy Manger, UPMC Hillman Cancer Center

Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Duquesne University and his Masters in Business Administration from Fordham University. He is currently the Manager for the Hillman Cancer Center Pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). When he first joined the UPMC, he was responsible for developing a Continuous Quality Improvement course and subsequently several operational integration initiatives. Prior to his work experience with the UPMC, Brian held various positions within the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Section of Lederle Laboratories, currently a division of Pfizer. Brian has also has been a Total Quality Management Auditor for the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, has spoken nationally on the subject of Supplier Base Management, has assisted in the creation of GOAL QPC's Coach's Guide to The Memory Jogger II, is a D.D.I. certified instructor, and certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

CE Requirements

To receive CE credit for this home study, you will need to watch the entire video, complete an online survey evaluation, and pass a short quiz. Access to the survey and quiz will be automatically provided after you have watched the video. PPA must have your CPE Monitor ID and birthday on file to issue credit.
